What People are Saying about HT

I have thrived in my career based upon my interactions and relationships with my role models in academia at HT. My professors were the wind beneath my wings. They believed in me when I did not believe in myself.”

Dr. Alicia Moore, Ph.D.

HT Graduate and Cargill Endowed Professor, Southwestern University

“My professors encouraged me and motivated me to go beyond the limit—not just to do enough to get by, but to excel and to exceed in everything that you do. That has transformed and carried over into the person that I am today.

Lillian Ferguson

HT Graduate

“What [HT] has as its unique mission is to provide opportunity, and to create a safe space where students can learn, can be encouraged, can be nurtured.”

Dr. Joseph T. McMillan, Jr.

Former HT President
